I’ve started reading Rebecca’s blog very recently and don’t exactly know her or anything. But day before yesterday, I read a post on her blog which was written by her now fiance Geoffrey. Actually they got engaged last Sunday i.e. the 22nd. So they did a post on each other’s blog about their version of the story i.e. Geoff did one on Bec’s blog and she did her version on his. Anyway let me just stop confusing you guys and get to the point.
So I read Geoff’s version and it’s so nicely written that you actually feel happy for both of them towards the end. I loved the part where he was to dedicate a song to Bec and the song he chose was Green Eyes by Coldplay. He’s written it so nicely that I stopped everything I was doing and put on Green Eyes just to get the feel of the situation even though I already know the lyrics by heart(you know, I’m a die hard Coldplay fan). And my oh my, was the song good? I’d say it was totally made for the situation! Bec has green eyes, which I kind of noticed only yesterday after that post but that’s not the only part where the song fits, the song is all about a guy telling his girl how she means everything to him and how his life changed for the good after he met her.
So ending this with the lyrics of Green Eyes, I just want to wish you guys the very best of luck for your married life.
Coldplay - Green Eyes
Honey you are a rock
Upon which I stand
And I come here to talk
I hope you understand
That green eyes, yeah the spotlight, shines upon you
And how could, anybody, deny you
I came here with a load
And it feels so much lighter, now I’ve met you
And honey you should know, that I could never go on without you
Green eyes
Honey you are the sea
Upon which I float
And I came here to talk
I think you should know
That green eyes, you’re the one that I wanted to find
And anyone who, tried to deny you must be out of their mind
Cause I came here with a load
And it feels so much lighter, since I met you
Honey you should know, that I could never go on without you
Green eyes
Green eyes
Ohohohohooooo
Ohohohohooooo
Ohohohohooooo
Ohohohohooooo
Honey you are a rock
Upon which I stand.

I think the song describes how a man feels about his prostitute. Read the lyrics again with that in mind and see what you think.
