World Cup,New Theme and all that jazz..

This one is gonna be a little long because I haven’t exactly made a proper post in a long time.Basically we’re talking about two things in here.Even though much more on my mind,I don’t think I should put it all in one post.

Firstly,The ICC Cricket World Cup 2007-West Indies.
Yes,it has officially begun now and man am I excited or what? I think it’s gonna be one hell of a tournament with Australia looking to win a third straight World Cup and the other teams trying to stop them from doing it.The best part is that there’s a good competition this time around and you can’t really be sure who would mean.There are atleast 6 teams in my opinion that could go the way but somewhere inside,the guys from down under still remain the favorites.I heard the opening ceremony was very good and very musical and that is expected from the West Indies.Sean Paul,who is one of my favorite singers and a proud Jamaican also performed and as far as the newspapers tell me,it was an excellent evening.This would also be an important tournament because it will be the last for a number of veteran players like Brian Lara,Sachin Tendulkar,Rahul Dravid,Inzamam-ul-Haq,Kumar Sangakkara,Glenn McGrath and maybe even Ricky Ponting.Another really ironical thing about the World Cup is that my first cousin has his marriage on the day of the final and wherever he goes,people tell him that they won’t come to the wedding cause they’d be seeing the final.So now we’re planning to put up a huge screen in the marriage hall itself and man if India manage to win this World Cup,people will surely remember my cousin’s marriage.We’ve even considered the invitation cards and were joking in Delhi some days back.We were all sitting together and planned that the card would have a picture of the World Cup on the first page and just in the end of the card,we would have a line which would go like..”**Special Attraction-World Cup Final on large screen!**”.I mean just how funny is all that.If India don’t reach the final though,his marriage is gonna be jeopardized.

Secondly,New Theme.
I guess I’m bored with my monotonous black theme now.I’ve kept it for a reasonably long time now and I haven’t even done anything with the header.I do want to change themes but I really like my sidebar and will have to fix many things so they can look good with a new theme which I haven’t even decided yet.As they say,change is necessary but what if you’re too lazy to change?

Anyway,if I don’t come up with a new theme after all,a new header is definitely coming up.And yeah you guessed what it’s gonna be based on..the World Cup!
